...she was afraid to show her true self tothe world...
Once upon a time there was a little girl who knew that she was different. She knew that she would be her own boss, her own super hero, and her own best friend. And in the days when little girls believe that anything is possible, she was perfectly ok with that. As time and years went on and she began to bend herself to fit the expectations of those around her, she always had a slight rebellious streak, a subconscious and spiritual tuning fork that pulled her, first in small and then in really big ways, toward the path that she was always meant to be on. Toward the things that even that little girl knew all those years ago. That she was meant to be different. That in some way, whether big or small, she was meant to make a difference. That her gifts and talents, trials and tribulations were meant to be in some way helpful to someone out there.
As the years continued and that little girl became a young woman, she was never able to hold a "traditional" job for more than a couple of years and the idea of going to the same job in the same place for years and years until retirement often gave her massive anxiety attacks. The only problem was, she could not figure out how to monetize her passions because she was scared of being her authentic self. She was scared of showing herself to the world because she believed that her light would result in a mass exodus of the people in her life. That fear crippled her and caused her to quiet her voice, dim her light, and question her passions.
One day, while tending to the domestic duties that had become a part of her everyday life, she decided to start a blog. Just a creative outlet for her thoughts and hobbies. And she realized that she loved it! It became a daily obsession to create series and and design elements and signatures. It was all she could think about. And it felt amazing!
This blog led to esthetics school, which led to meeting amazing positive people, which led to the beginning of a company, which led to the greatest journey of her life!
