Hello my pretty girls and welcome back to another edition of The Esthetician's Corner. Today, since it is Tuesday and I am a fountain of tips, I decided that we should take our maiden voyage on the Tip Tuesday train. My tip for you lovelies today is a simple but effective one so here goes. Adding a few drops of oil or moisturizer to your sunscreen before application will thin it out and help the product to absorb, thus ridding us of the dreaded "flash back." If you are unfamiliar with this term, let me take a moment to break it down for you. Flash back is when a melanin enhanced goddess uses a product that is just a little too white and when a picture of said goddess is taken, her whole face is given a sickly white cast that is the bain of any pretty girls existence. Having been a victim of this sad phenomenon many times, I have sought out ways to banish it from my life forever. The first was to stop wearing white setting powder (duh!) and the second was to start mixing my sunscreen with my face oil to thin out the formula and disperse some of the zinc oxide pigment within it.
I hope that tip is helpful and keeps flash back at bay for you pretty girls. Until Next time...
